Finger food

amber loves these vegetable burgers from Aldi they are egg and dairy free, she has them with beans or mash. She also loves organic and Ella's kithcen. I find the organic ginger men and Ella's kitchen ginger biscuits are great and egg and dairy free! She eats loads of fruit and veg (much healthier than me nd daddy) I find buying the little tubs of pineapple or fruit salad in juice always go down a treat! She also likes fish fingers and chicken goujons (when her brothers having them!) Aldi always seem to have great breaded ones that are egg and milk free! It's just reading labels I've found. It's a very long process though!

Sorry I haven't been around, it's been a busy time of year!

So it's just after Christmas and Amber is 1 on Saturday! Can't believe it! Amber is back to hospital in .january for skin pricks and to see the dietitian. They wanted us to start the milk ladder but she's been poorly for months now! She keeps getting diahorrea and really inflamed eczema and all I can put it down to is the hydrolysed milk in her aptamil Pepti, wheat or tomatoes? Very confusing stuff! She loved christmas and enjoyed a dinner, Turkey, mash, carrots, sprouts, peas and turnip. She has been eating a lot of finger foods and I've found things in local supermarkets which I will post. Hope everyone has enjoyed christmas!!!

Breakfast!

Both of these organix cereals are egg and milk free! I just mix in a bit of her own milk or you can use oat milk/ rice milk... Amber loves the muesli, it says 10 month but she's been having it since 7 month! Also I add a bit banana into the mini puffs to get more fruit in! Unfortunately they both contain gluten...I've yet to find a milk free adult type cereal most say 'may contain milk' or 'used in a factory that uses milk' which I'm unsure about at the minute?!

Hello and welcome to my first post!

Hello and welcome to our first post! I'm sarah-Jane and this is Amber, Amber has an egg allergy and we recently found out she has a milk intolerance too! The egg allergy we found out about when she was about 6 month old after having a mouth full of scrambled egg her lips swelled up and she was wheezing, she was tested and came back that it was an allergy! I'm completely new to allergies so this blog is just to help anyone else who is new too! I'm learning everyday! Amber has eczema too, when she was really little she was out onto a prescription cows milk formula alternative but was took off when her results came back negative! Since being on a cows milk diet recently she's been poorly, sickness, diahorrea and really itchy eczema! So now she's back off the cows milk! She's now 9 months old and eating a lot of finger foods, I'm constantly looking for foods she can have and I struggle at times! So hopefully I can find new ideas and post them in my blog, thanks for reading!
